Wendy has 30+ years of experience in rebuilding and strengthening leadership and family teams to help them function as effective stewards of their business and family enterprise. She brings deep knowledge and perspective to global clients across sectors, facilitating meaningful conversations with multi-generational families on governance, firm continuity, leadership, next generation preparation and conflict resolution.
She is a partner and board director of a U.S. family firm more than 130 years old, helping to lead approximately 50 cousin partners from the third through sixth generations. Her background and experience with her own family enterprise motivated Wendy to dedicate her career to the needs of family enterprises as a consultant, educator, author and adjudicator.
Wendy earned a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of British Columbia. She is trained as an ontological coach by the Newfield Institute and holds certificates from the Institute of Corporate Governance and UBC Sauder’s Business Families Centre. Wendy has written several books (see Resources page), is a sought after speaker, and is the Academic Director for Family Enterprise Canada.
